79 Pantera Speed Run

Had another nice run with the Eliminator & Trick Cat yesterday afternoon.
Impossible to keep up with those guys but I had the old Pantera rolling . . .

I know its not GPS but still cruising pretty good, fun day even with the rain.

When we were along side of you and dead even I looked at Cliff's GPS speedometer and it was reading 80 mph also. I think that we all had a great time and it was nice to have the lake pretty much to our selves ! Great to you guys and Steve and sit out the rain at the floating bar. I hate the fact that the summer is almost over.

those speedos are very close if they are using the pickup that came with them

Those old Nordskogs were not very forgiving.... if its showing 80 i would not doubt it.... good for you!

I had that exact speedo on my Stingray and they are very accurate, I would call that an 80mph pass all day long!

I enjoyed the run. Couldn't have found a better crowd or place to wait out the storm. Felt like 80 to me. It had my cheeks flapping in the wind. Need to catch a sud this week sometime. -Jim

very nice 80 is fun .not alot of stock boats will pass you at 80

Welcome to BoatFreaks . . . its about time.

Jim rode on the boat with us on the Fun Run this year and Toys for Tots last year. He also has a 23" Stingray with a Big Block. Runs strong.

welcome to the board Jim , a lot of member have had 22 stingrays and yes they are and can be made fast.

I've run beside you way to many times and you are definitely runnin 80 by my GPS! that thing scoots! and it looks sweet doin it to! Love the classic style.
Lets do a run again this w/e!
