Of course you can not see their eyes, but I can still picture looking right at his face. I have not been zoomed like that since the 290 PQ. It was sunset and I may have been being friendly with the wife. A private jet was coming into Charlevoix, they came back around and zoomed us. I could see the lug nuts on his landing gear. 18 years ago there wasn’t much boat traffic at sunset.

Noted.

I hate when that happens.

It's the noise that gets to you in person. F-18s (of any variant) are the loudest thing out there. It's incredible really.

Well, I sure am surprised you guys haven't ribbed me no end on my misspelling of Angels in the title. Perhaps you didn't notice?

Todays flyover. They have been doing this every day but I have never had the camera. They start the smoke right over our house (which is next to a water tower that they probably use as a marker). We are pretty much on final for NAS Pensacola.

Breaking in the new guys. Like they are rookies or something.

This ones for you Zone.

Merry Christmas guys.

That time of year. We get the Sunday "return from the weekend airshow" flyby. Tough to get a picture as you really can't hear them coming, but I got lucky yesterday.

Warning: Some (inadvertent) boating content. Well, the water and boats just add to it all.

Pensacola Airshow Dress Rehearsal
Exact same performance as the Saturday official show. But you saw it here before the "real" show has even happened. I cannot tell you how close we were. The Pensacola pier looked to be center stage, and we were there.

Tinkertoy is still not running, but a PCM is on the way. We were with friends on a Key West 24' CC. I am not ready to trade TinkerToy in on a Key West, I'll just say that.

The first slide is show opening. You would never see them coming if you weren't looking.
