This is what Lake Cumberland looks like.
The whole entire lake is carved out of sand stone! This one picture is exactly like what 98% of the shore line looks like. It is a corp lake and there are no homes. Only five or six marina's. It is a VERY deep lake. The State Dock where most of these pictures were taken is floating on 12o feet of water. You have to really use caution on this lake. There is a noticable change in water color around some of the points. When you see the water change color you are going from 180 feet of water down to 75 foot of water!!!!!!! When we dropped the boat in I backed out past the dock at the ramp and it was 90 feet!!! The only area I saw down around 30 feet was at 76 Falls. You can be 20 feet from shore at this lake and be in 140 foot of water! This is a shot from 76 Falls. You can just make out the falls in the center where the tree lines merge. |

A really NICE pair of "CUSTOM" engines in a Baja 33 Outlaw. These guy are running close to 90 MPH with fuel and four people!
He built them himself and they have "Electric Water Circulating Pumps" along with other interesting things! |
