Back in the 60s, Sunbeam had a two seater called a Sunbeam Tiger, It had a 289 Ford V8 ln it. Ran like a raped ape.

Yes, I remember the Sunbeam Tiger well. Most of them had the Ford 260, I think they used the 289 the last year it was in production.

Friend has a Triumph TR5 with 500+hp sbc
Not much stock on it at all.
Road race car.
Crazy lil' go cart

Saw a few Miatas with LS power at the last Hot Rod power tour.
Always liked their LS Pontiac Soltice they did with GM Performance.
