At Boca Grande...this was the biggest bummer of the trip...we wanted to go soooooo bad, but by the time we got there, all the "protected" beach was used up, and it was VERY windy and wavey. We put the boat on the beach, but the bottom kept bouncing off the sand, so Pat had us pull the boat out. While we were doing that, we had the visitor pictured...I was a little freaked out...we don't have those in Lake Michigan...
Anyway...we hung out for a bit, tried to tie off a Cig 42X...ripped a cleat out of the fiberglass on the Cig, so we cut loose. Our anchor wouldn't hold, so we bailed and went back to the dock for stone crab and booze...
