Shooting the parade was done thanks to Velocity Marks 70-200 2.8 lens but it is tough to zoom in on a moving boat that far away in no light and get a image worth a hoot , these were better then my attempt last year i also used a mono pod to help hold the camera still but most shots were down around 1/40 of a second and it is just hard to get a clear shot , but at least you get a idea of the show.

that may help but the boats are moving and as you can see no light , the dock pics there is no way because the dock float and ith so many people on them they are moving all the time .
