Had my own little run planned with the family...the baby's first boat ride to boot, get behind on the tide so I'm rushing around, go to a new ramp, MUCH steeper incline...wifes Tahoe was almost sliding into the drink...stick the azz in the water, fire her up...running like a champ...then notice that very little water now coming out the pipes...after about 30 seconds of idling...then NO water coming out...shut her down, and WALLA, one ruined day and two shredded RW pumps!
The incline was too much to get a good prime I guess, and the water that came out to start was leftover from the previous days running. Only good news is that the moron who built this rig actually had the forethought to rig in about half a foot of slack in the hoses to actually allow the removal of said pump without pulling the dam motors . NOT alot of room in there...as I don't have nice Bravo setup and the extra two feet of space! Starboard side only grooved the housing up, but didn't send shreds of rubber to the cooler, BUT theres always one that sends half the impeller down the pipe. Alittle back flushing and a good old shop vac should do the trick. The pics and the run looked awesome guys!!!
