I never even imagined the possibility of what i am about to say. It saddens me to say, after everything throughout the journey that started with a for sale ad, is near its very end.... The Nova made its successful debut at 1320videos Ice Cream Cruise claiming the Best Domestic award out of the couple thousand cars also participating in the show, more than half being domestic. Not long after it came time to strap it to the rollers and make some steam. For a conservative tune on 23psi @17* timing, made a healthy 922rwhp / 795tq on "The Dream Killer" Mustang Dyno. Since then, the car has been patiently waiting to do what it was built to do. Over the years building the nova my brother and his wife built a daughter too. I dont have kids and do not plan to anytime soon but, im sure some dads reading this can agree that life changes as you know it when you have a kid. And he and his wife are wanting to chit out another kid, and according to my calculations, during that timeframe the dad loses his balls. (JK) But realistically, the car is not something for anyone without experience. Its fuggin dangerous what we do. Ive yet to go to a no-prep race and there not be a wreck. Its not if, its when, in that level of competition on unprepped surfaces.

So for the sake of his growing family, some lucky mother f***er somewhere will have the chance to buy a 1964 Chevy II Nova SS Sport Coupe that has been fully built top to bottom with nothing but the best parts and components. I think he said the Holley dash read 12 miles when he parked it after the dyno day. Its no Numbers matching all original blah boring dust magnet. Its a brand new 64 Nova SS with all brand new everything but the original steel. if its painted white or red its 64 nova, if its not its brand new. 1000hp. NHRA Certified Chassis. 6 figure build. All documents/receipts were kept the build itself was documented since the day he purchased it. Zero passes on the car. (i cant get over it, probably never will either) Hopefully that aspect of not being raced appeals to a potential buyer. It makes the power, chassis has been certified, just needs someone to start beating the shit out of it and taking everyones lunch money at the race track.

Im making sure he gets all bases covered before its listed "officially" for sale to the public, that will be the day i can tell anyone interested the asking price. But letting the cat out of the bag and i guess letting it be known the car is coming up for sale very soon. Unless his testicles re-appear

Someone (A very lucky someone) is going to be the proud owner of a beautiful 64 Chevy II Nova unless (as you stated) his testicles re-appear.

He's had some pretty decent trade offers. Some higher, some lower in value. Also has a guy who is very serious, that will buy if it has a time slip showing somewhere close to 5.40s in the 8th mile. Which my hunka chit went 5.90s with terrible 60' times when it was making 660whp on the same dyno the nova made 923whp on. So thats the plan pry if it hasn't sold by April

I would think a 5.40 should be a walk in the park..

yeah i agree. just a matter of getting a brand new car dialed in, then making the low 5 sec pass within 3 passes. He doesnt have an NHRA license. but i still think itd be pretty easy, considering the car lol. i told him ill back it off the trailrer into the staging lanes and make a pass. but i suppose we will see what happens

Appreciate that! Tho there wont be any major issue with finding a licensed driver, if he ends up needing one. I am always allowed 3 unlicensed passed when i go. But I plan on getting mine beginning of the season since No prep and N/T races are a lot more strict about requirements than they used to be. And the racer discounts through jegs and summit are nice too!
