Thanks Jassman!

I love weekending on this boat. I got performance and a cabin. But you got even more eh?

You may have noticed the frayed edges of the carpet. (I took the cabin pics on my sea trial.) That went on my punch list. They put a hemmed edge on there and it looks great. Notice the design in carpet. Pretty cool.

Thank you sir...and Ambusher too!

Believe it or not I considered ordering this boat with 496/CMI/XR's for several reasons. I made the obvious correct choice. These 525's are sweet motors. But, insurance is three times what the 496's would have been. Pay to play...it's my dream boat...for go fasts. I've got a fast cruiser in my future.

I have seen 88.2 running my stock 32 Bravos. I likely would have hit 90 with BillR's Merc labbed 32 Bravos, which I ran for two weeks last summer. But I got the typical 5 mph loss in the cruise band. That's more important to me. I typically see 85 during the summer. But at that speed the conditions have to be just right. And that is not often on the lower Chesapeake Bay, so cruise it most important. I want to try a set of Maximus. I'm told they are even better at cruise.

That was not a fun afternoon. The slip we were assigned was a yacht slip with 4 barnacle encrusted pilings. And the tide was so low at the time we would have needed a ladder to get up to the pier. I tried calling both Steve and James to see if we could get another slip, but got voice mail. So we took her home. There was no way I was going to put my new girl in that slip.

I got my reservation in early this year!
