Liquid Jungle - Wabasha, MN
Getting excited for the Liquid Jungle run in Wabasha, MN this weekend (August 14th & 15th).
If anyone's heading up / down there, come say hello. Should be a great time. Weather is expected to cooperate.

We've got three boats heading into Wabasha early afternoon Friday...
My 23 Outlaw & buddies 26 Outlaw (pictured in my avatar) and another buddies 25 Advantage. All slipped together. Stop by and say "hello". See ya there! Jason

LJ was a good time this year. Lots of boats showed up for the run and the weather cooperated. The crew at LJ Motorsports put on a well organized event. The helicopter shots should turn out amazing. That alone makes it worth the $$.

Four months and counting on getting the Poker Run DVD's from the Liquid Jungle run....
I know there have been some technical issues with getting this pulled together, but we're all very frustrated by the delay. Charity races are great, and this one was well organized. We were impressed by the turnout But the drivers pay good money to have a good time... and a DVD of our boats to watch all winter long. When are the DVD's shipping, Caincando?

The DVD is done. We had to make the tough decision to either ship a mediocre DVD early or make the editor redo it and ship a better DVD late. We are just as frustrated as you guys are, believe me. When we are working our tails off to make as much money for charity as we can, we have to deal with things like this. When people are giving us deals we have to deal with being low priority. It’s being duplicated now and as soon as they get to me, we’ll start shipping them out. I will say that the second draft of the DVD ended up being pretty darn cool. It’s a very different type of video that what we’ve had in the past. I think we needed that; the last few have been very similar in feel. Crank the surround sound and you’ll love it! Tons of good music and motor noise!

Well thank the good lord for motor audio. The last run I attended (Miss Croix 2008) had a looping audio DVD. I'm so sick of Kid Rock by now... ugh! I'll take the sound of 496 HO's, twin 525s and the like anyday over the latest pop phenomenon.

As you know we are just a couple fellow boaters trying to put together a cool run for everyone. We don’t claim to have all the right anwers and we’re always looking for input from people to improve the run if we can.

Got it! Thanks to whoever put my boat in a few video & still shots. Much appreciated! Time to buy some better life jackets for the 2010 season. We all buy $10 life jackets to ride in $100,000 boats... doesn't make much sense.
