Took us years to get a copy of these from a old neighbor of my Grandfathers. Our dealership was built in 1917, not very many pictures of it after all these years. My Father bought our dealership in 1972, but we still operate out of the original dealership. Sorry to bore you with old pics, but I thought they were pretty cool!

Don't know who the first person is, the 2nd man was Mr. Grey. Mr Grey in his later years had a party store across the street from my fathers gas station. From what I remember of him he must have worked into his 90's, he was really really old.The man working on the engine was my Grandfathers neighbor, all the pictures came from him, a grandson brought them in.

Some of the pics were from the Onaway store. Yes they worked side by side with tractors and cars.

That is the front of the dealership. I sold the tractor sign 10 years ago. We still have the blue oval sign.

Very cool. glad you have those pics. I recently went to the Ford Estate in Dearborn. I love history.

Found this picture of the dealership this summer, I would guess 1920. There was a house where the used car lot is today. It had a gas pump out front also. That was there into the 50’s. Crazy to think you would have a gas pump on the sidewalk.

A picture of the 1917 LaFrance Fire truck. Bought new for Boyne City and still owned by Boyne City. It was built the same year the dealership was built.
