If nobama knew what SA was he would turn it back on and we would be back to 250' gps. I remember being 100 ' offshore and GPS s showed about 150' on the beach.

Btw, I played with my tablet this am with only gps turned on. Got between 60-90 accuracy according to

But what are you going to do about the bright sunlight? If I could find a tablet that was good in the sun I would use one too. I would like to mount small screens on the backs of my seats plus one on the front passenger side. I would connect them all thru a wifi connection to my raymarine gps

GPS status app is what tells me. Should be that or something like it for ipad

Samsung tab S says 15 ft outside, 26 in the house.

I use it all the time for navigation. Same screen as the galaxy s5, plenty bright outside and 10" screen

Yea, the numbers I got were from Samsung too, on my tab pro 8.4. Your newer S seems to get way better inside then mine does.

I'm impressed with the gps on it. Gets a good position fix faster than all 3 garmins i have, especially indoors. Even able to find & hokd a fix inside a plane (sitting in window seat) while cruising 400+ mph; could hold a fix on the high speed trains in Germany.
