What are you using for oil? I was using amsoil atf with great results but that was a few years ago. Nitrogen psi can have an impact too. Im guessing with stock arms you should be around 12" of travel??

Had to look it up 16" in the front and 18" in the rear. I have a little better than 12" of ground clearance all around. No specific oil, and nitrogen pressure is very important they were overcharged from factory when we did the revalve 3 out of 4 had blown seals. Sucked too because we started them 2 days before a big ride. The overnight shipping was like 10 times the cost of parts. Next up is some better a arms and bigger rear sway bar

Just keep am eye on your CV angles. A spare isn;t a bad thing to carry. Dont have much UTE experience but I have done a lot of long travel atv stuff and messed with this for a few years....

I sold the Can Am Commander a month or so ago and I just picked up this 2009 CRF450R. EFI makes the throttle response nice and crisp. The Commander was quick, but in all honesty I think it was a piece of Chit. fit and finish was terrible. the whine that came from the transmission was deafening and so annoying. Just not high quality. My Rhino was so much better in everything but speed and suspension.
