We were in a little pop-up camper for two weeks...here's some pics of our neighbors at Yellowstone. The bison was literally across the street from our site...we had our dinner interrupted one night by two bison walking THRU our site!

Off to the Tetons. I've been here twice now, winter and summer, and I have to say that they are my favorite mountains. We did a 12 mile hike...tried to get to a lake up at about 11,000 feet, but had to turn back due to the snow (wife was really concerned about slipping and falling). Oh yeah...that was on July 3rd...I built a snowman.

Moose taking a nap on the side of the trail. There were HUGE forest fires out there... A pic of my best side on top of Jackson Hole Mountain resort...I spent the day on a rented downhill mountain bike using the chair lift...one of the best days I've ever had on two wheels...

40 mile bike ride in the shadow of the Grand Teton...an artsy shot from the shore of Jackson Lake...

Damn...I'd rather be there than here...

Almost 8 years and close to 100K. This was the true queen-mother of P.i.t.A. I will never do something like this again. The reason it was so expensive was because there are no "clone" or "Ecklers" parts...all original and reconditioned. The wheels are real knock-offs. You have to remove two 1/16 diameter pins that are about 1-3/4 inches long under the center cap, then you have to beat the Hell out of the spinner with a lead hammer...starboard side has reversed threads.

You can go here and see other pics...

Didnt drive it hardly at all for close to 10 years. When I got the speed-o back fom being reconditioned, they turned it back to all zeros. In 10 years, the car was driven a total of 395 miles....mainly from the garage to teh trailer and the trailer to the car show parking area, then after the show, back to the trailer then from the trailer back to the garage.
