In reference to post 52, which I have issues extracting.
We are all sitting on the surf/sand, enjoying life.
Look down the shore line, and see a group of people pulling our dingy up the sand....to shore.
Further to shore.............it keeps moving to the tree line.
We beached it hard, it was not going anywhere.
So we are sitting there, thinking, and watching.........what are they doing?
So we get up, and walk down the shore line, to "check it out" as the curiosity got to us.
We walked up to these people, who were in the process of tying our dingy, to a tree..........which I have no issue with.........except ..........there is only 8 of us, to get this dingy back off the beach.
This is the answer, when I enquired..........."Well we were walking by, and it looked like it was going to float away"
They came off a Cruise ship dump on the beach tourist trip.........nice people.......have a good heart, that most should have.........but ............there was a reason we put the dingy where we did.

Old thread, but we are heading back, in 1 month.
Went with another rental company in BVI this time.
IT HAS WIFI!!

Boat is smaller, and have to travel from USVI to BVI to pick up, which takes some time, but they claim both port and starboard motors will run + another 10hp on the dingy.

We'll see, and so will you, via Boat Freaks.
