Getting all the the last minute customers ready for Boyne Thunder again this year. Our boat was done 3 months ago unlike last year when I started assembling the engines 3 days before the run.

Coming up North - anybody ever use 127N (Through Lansing/Mt. Pleasant) as an alternate route to 23/75N?

I know it's impossible to avoid construction - but I was looking for something different...maybe a more interesting drive, if nothing else...

An extra 20 min. / half-hour is no big deal - especially during mid-week.

I think it is a great route. That stretch north of Alma is very nice and I have always had good luck with traffic flow. Safe travels!

This is the way we came up this year. Much, much better than 75

I don't use my trim tabs, thought I would put them down in the rough water. Put my port down, and it would not come back up. Starboard was stuck up. Once we got to Lake Charlevoix I put everyone on one side and picked it up. Looked a little funny, but worked.

Tabs were on about 1.5 all day Saturday. Loved driving in that water
