My son Andy brought a nice young lady over last night after we came off the lake. After talking for a few minutes she had thanked me for a ride on our boat. I said thank you, and asked when she was on my boat. She said she has been cancer free for several years. She went for a ride when we were giving rides for the cancer children for Boyne Thunder back in the beginning. I remembered her parents, Heidi remembered her. I talked to her about Camp Quality and my experience with giving kids rides in the antique cars. She had great memories of Camp Quality. She was going thru treatment the same time my cousin’s daughter was. Nice to hear great feedback for something you work 12 months a year on.
