Anybody here have one?

My Dad raced the winningest Shadow cat of all time. Just found the guy who owns it now in Canada and he is going to do a complete resto on it.

Double Whoops We broke it twice

and a third time that only Nicky & I know about while testing in Hudson River off Dobbs Ferry NY just below Tappen Zee Bridge. I have no pictures but do have it on video. Sank it and pulled it back up with my brothers boat. That night when my wife made dinner for us she had a cake that said Under the Boardwalk and song the song. Under the boardwalk down by sea. than told us we were assholes

Flipped over? Oh man, that is something else I am going to have to bust Nicky's balls about!

You may be wrenchin' on my AT again this spring. I gave Nicky a list when I dropped it off in October. Big item is a sea strainer needs to be installed. We were going to do the computer/heads to add 100 or so HP, but I am going to hold off on that right now with the economy and a wedding to pay for in July. My brothers 29 Fountain and my Dad's 24 Progression are in his possesiion as well.

I just rebuild your fathers Torque Master. I do all Nicky's drive work, I have a shop set up for rebuilding drives, its my side work pays for boating. I have a full time job. Usually the the only time I am over working at his shops is if I goofing around with something of mine or out busting balls or if he's having a problem trying to fix something. ( like your AT last spring) I have a lot going on up at the lake so I keep pretty busy just keeping up with my own projects. You want to bust em on him, Tell him you were talking to the guy that fixes his F--- ups. I am planing on retiring next year and will probably will be working with him. You think he can yell while working , you ought hear me yell at him when we are working together

Great pic and good ammo! I was gonna tell Nicky that I will sell my spare drive to a customer that may need one this spring, so if you know somebody that needs it, let me know. He had let me know that was a possibility. It is a 2005 Bravo X with 100 hours on it. Replaced it with the XR after the 496HO was replaced with the 525.

I remember that boat. Bob was friends with my Dad. I remember I was walking on the docks at Key West when I was about 6 years old and Ericson started up when I was right behind the boat. Scared the piss out of me and I yelled "Bad Ericson!" I hated that boat until I could finally have an appreciation for the noise.

Are there still small blocks in there?

No small blocks any more I bought the boat from my dad when he restored it. He was running 600 cube inch 1200hp a side. The boat ran 170 with those motors. I just finished rigging the boat with 540's that make about 760hp a side. The picture is with his motors.
