Balancing machine is a Hunter 9700, it is termed road force but they can have the 9700 analysis the perfect mounting location of the tire on the wheel. The wheel and tire are then marked on the 9700, removed and tire bead is broke off wheel and tire is spun on the wheel to align the marks suggested by 9700, reinflated and then road forced balanced again. The amount a weight need will be much less and the result is a near perfect balance before weights are even added. My Z06 has 2 tires and wheels with no weights at all and 1/4 to 1/2 oz on the other two. Z06 is perfectly smooth at any speed. This has also been done on my trucks and they are smoother than from the factory even with larger tires and wheels. This is a time consuming task that tire shops around here avoid, some of the places don't even know about this process and some only have one technician knowledgeable enough to perform the task. BTW, Discount tire, once you find someone that knows what your talking about, doesn't charge extra for this if you purchased the tires from them, some places are 25 per wheel extra.

If they feel out of round, I'll do a 1,000 foot burnout. Usually works.

well the new tires are awesome.climbed a road going up hill to a friends wood storage yard,climbed it in 2 wheel drive.
got home with a truck bed full of wood,plowed my side yard,18"+ of snow like it was nothing.
tires are impressive.

I can say,,I absolutely love these tires in the snow,,truck is barely working w/ the grip these tire have.

oh they did to today,,500' driveway w/ 14" of snow,,I pushed that snow like it wasn't there.
the grip on steep driveways was awesome,I could stop,drop the blade and start pushing.
