Yeah , what's that got to do with it???
My PSD sits one weekend to the next with the boat still attached all summer. Last winter it sat in a garage for 3 months with a battery tender plugged in.
You know something I'm missing

simply put, diesels are nice but the added cost to upgrade to one and cost/milage,especially w/ diesel price,it doesn't payoff(diesel).gas truck is usually 5-7k cheaper in purchace price, that right there is gas money for 4yrs.hope that made sence,of course if your like me and drive your truck forever, then in the very long run, there worth it.

makes no sence diesel is 20 cents more here i get 5 to 6 miles to the gallon more in town also the difference in price will be there when you go to sell the truck look at the trucks that are 4 to 5 years old. also chevy has a 100.000 mile warranty on the engine

ABSOLUTELY!!!

For the 5 to 6 thousand for the diesel, I can buy alot of tanks of gas!
As far as the resale.....well we'll just have to see what happens in.....
........lets say 10 years or so when and if I decide to sell!

I'm pretty confident that diesel will resume it's price position (less than regular) at some point which will again increase the resale value. It has been the fuel with the fast dropping prices of late out here in the Rockies.
The need for a diesel out this way is a little more complicated; the gas trucks have a tough time pulling the steep grades at 5000-7000 feet elevation with 10,000+ lbs behind you
