thanks , i shot a lot more that just were not good at all problem was i had a hard time paning between the post and keeping count in my head where i was so i could get the shot , also the sun went behind the cloud and i really needed to be at about 800 to 1000th of a second and that was pushing the lens in the light so i backed it up to 400 of a second just not fast enough from the side.

i took 300 and to me none of them are as sharp as i would like , partly because of where i had to get to take them from , Augusta is not a bad place to watch from but for taking pics there is a lot of stuff in the way. It is hard to pan on a boat running 200 mph with all the stuff in the way

Nice pics, havent been to Augusta since 2007, because of work. The start line is good for the hole shot pics, but other than that it is hard to shoot there. thanks for posting!
