Nice!!!. Good luck with Duke Power. I just spent 10 months of jumping hurdles with AEP and FERC to get approval this Nov . Piles are in and decking going in this week hopefully. The Island is getting kicked up a notch and plenty of room for guests to tie up

That's a nice building and good luck with the authorities. I finally got my 25'x38' approved, but what a friggin nightmare getting there. I had to go for variance meetings due to their error, but that's another story.

Perhaps you'll have more luck as that is a great building and maybe worth the pain.

building inspector called.........Had 2 questions...... and said to come after 9 am tomorrow and pick up my permit......................wooooooooooo hooooo

permit in hand............$520...... crazy....... I have spent nearly $1500 and haven't bought a stick of wood yet.......

If ya wanna dance ya have to pay the Fiddler..

Some municipalities charge by type of structure + square footage, some charge by type of structure + total cost of project. Either way they get your money. Then they send a copy of the building permit to the assessors office so they can raise your assessment which in turn raises your taxes.
