i too had filter problems,port tach would bounce all around.dump filter out and shake it.engine would run fin for 15miles or so.made for a semi long day. Sorry i missed you Bill ! I too had a filter issue with the secondary filter and had to idle from Portsmouth across Bay to Fall River.
