I was just looking at Marks building and thought I would share my project too....

Just got the plans from the architect Friday. I will be going to get the building permit this week.

My building is 45 x 50 x 14 and will be used for boat storage and workshop. I should move along pretty quickly dealing with the city and the county have been the biggest problems. I didn't want to have any windows for people to look in and see what was inside.

Thanks all, not much to see yet but should be up by the 1st of the year. It will be a work in progress. I'm going to pay a guy to put up the trusses and roof because you need a crane to get them up but will do most of the finishing myself.

Cool!! I wanted to do one of those a couple years ago but Lincoln County has some ordance that says I can't have a garage in front of the house and my house is on the lake setback. This is my project this winter instead. Waiting to here from Duke Power but hopefully setting piles and upper deck that I pre-framed this week. I will work on the rest this winter and spring and hopefully be ready by the time you guys make it back up.
