Good faith but in reality for "boat racing" to ever be more than it is they need one org with one platform. Nascar or Indy doesn't have 14 different orgs or classes. Twin outboard cats with a parity (weight penalty?) to keep older/smaller/longer/less powerful boats competitive. I say outboard cats for the fans, 100mph is more exciting than 60mph.

Said simpler, if it takes 1-3 minutes to explain what's going on out on the race course it's too convoluted for gen pop to support as a fan base.

Or maybe they never want to get that big is an option as well.
