in the race boat the bottom of the boat came apart right behind the seat and hooked the boat, there had been a ton of work done to the bottom trying to get a hop out of the boat that started between 90 and 110 after that it ran good. what we figured out after mine crashed was the bottom of the boat was flexing the whole time acting like a trimtab. we thought it was the tunnel packing air and dumping it like somany cats do but that was not it.

on the v drive the shaft coupler broke , i looked at the tach and the motor was at 7800 so as i let off the gas the shaft went back and hit the rudder and the boat twisted off the water and barrel rolled i never saw it coming on eather boat.
