Some pictures, F1-07, titled as an 01 boat, at Lake X with a sealed 500, in Factory 1 specs it ran 87.1 mph.

For S&G with a 5 blade Herring it ran over 90. Not too shabby for a 29' single 500EFI boat.

I have to bring some pictures home of it in the air.

Yes. It then went to Lake Cumberland Marine where Rich Clarke bought it. Then it went back to legal spec's, off to Lake X, and raced for a few years, 100% legal.

It ran those numbers 100% Factory 1 legal.

By any chance, were you there when Velocity set the record for F1 kilo?

It was late in the day and off the record. It went 86 and some change.

Here she is now, for sale in Jersey.

http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.c...o14228-en.html

In June of 2004, we took the engine out, and had the transom redone. The new cutout was 2" lower. Mercury came out with the 2" Shortie Sport Master, so the idea was to drop the engine 2" and get the prop shaft back up to reasonable with the shortie. Lowering the CG and a bigger skeg would have helped that boat a lot.

I guess it is turning a 25 Hydromotive now, back in its glory it would turn a labbed 30 B1 to 5390. It never liked hydromotives, left or right rotation.
