Yes, it is Carbon Fiber/Fiberglass. It is one of the 4 F2 T/S Top Guns built. This is Phil Lipshultz's old boat. There was also the Team Virgin Top Gun, MAXX, and Dick Simon (now Speed Racer).

The boats in their days

I couldn't find a good picture of Speed Racer racing but this pic is taken just after the owner bought it who converted it to pleasure. The only difference is now it has a swim platform and a new hatch.

The MAXX, I have only seen one picture of racing as it only raced in four or five races.

Yes, post #687 is our boat when Brett Furshman had it.

Those are some great pics of the Virgin boat. I've never seen close-up cockpit shots of the cockpit when Tres raced it. I know it has a 6 man bolster now. Any other F2 shots you can share?

We should probably move these pics in the Cigarette Legend Thread. Plus, I can't seem to edit any of my posts and everytime I go to type a quick response it says "Please click one of the Quick Reply icons in the posts above to activate Quick Reply."

Any help?

to do the quick reply, look in the lower right hand corner of the post you are repling to. To the right of the quote button, is an icon that looks like a sheet of paper. click on it, then click in the quick reply box, and you are good to go.

As far as editing posts, you have 5 minutes to edit it. That is turned on, to stop people from saying something, and then trying to make it sound like they did not say it later. We have had some issues in the past with this, and the cut off stopped it in its tracks.
