From now on, the pix will be clean, I just had to do this for the old ones...I'll get better ones of the finished product in its stages as the month goes on...I'm working hard boys, and you'll see that for yourselves- hopefully I'll be running her in the Fall River run FOR MY BACHELOR PARTY!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Billy,
The pix are from last summer, and yes, those are the grenades (Ithink...I wont know until I run her this weekend...don't forget the knocking and locking happened at idle ) The new exhaust is on, and it fits nice and looks good, and I just painted the hatch, new wind screen, and dash panel I made, so if I keep going at this pace, I'll be shooting her deck and topside/cockpit Mediteranian White within two weeks. After that, its just little cosmetics and I'm TOTALLY finished. I'll post pix of the cabin before and after too...THAT was alot of work in itself. I hopefully get my upholstery back by the last week of June. Walla...new boat(only took three years.) I really hope I don't have bad motors, but if I do, I will be going with that Merlin power I was looking at.

Thanks guys,
It really has been and still is a learning experience...the hatch I spent three hours prepping and painting last night was covered in pine needles and crap when my makeshift work area cover(read: roofers tarp) decided to loosen up and fall on the fresh, sticky paint. BUT...I just finished my new custom made dash panel and it came out AWESOME, so I guess you win a few and loose a few. Its been like that the whole way, but its getting done. The black was my favorite part about the boats look...until I found out that all those cracks I repaired, filled and faired came back because fiberglass doesn't like more than 130-140degrees unless it can expand...so now the topside is getting done in a nice offwhite, with the side striping coming up and over the hatch and the Sutphen logo going on the custom aluminum windscreen. The hand rails are gone and now one is going down the center instead. There are new vents in the hatch to let those puppies breath better, and a nice gunmetal grey with no pleating upholstery on the whole cockpit area should look good too. Heres a pix of what it looks like now "underconstruction".....
