Got ya. Just didn't want you to give money away is all, some people just don't know the wood has value. The idiot next to me was going to give me his shed. I had a buyer lined up for $6K but the fool had a landscaper there one day that said they would tear it down for like $250 so that is what they did. Then he asked for my left to get rid of it. Umm...no dipshit!

I'm going to call a few of the "barn wood" people in the area and see what they will give. Thanks for the heads up Mark.

Nothing like your garager mahal Russ but it will have a loft in the long bay overlooking the garage.

Jeremy, I hope it works out. I have to jump thru hoops here in Willistown Twp.

I live 1 block from the township building and willistown is a "green" township. (My azz!) Iasked the fire dept. to control burn it but thats not allowed anymore. I thought about an uncontrolled burn but couldn't bring myself to do it. Oh well in the next week or so it will be gone!

That was on my mother in laws property. It was for her mother to live in. The garage there is more of a storage/car parking garage with a 1700sq. ft. apt. above it. The one I plan on building will be for my boat and cars. Still dealing with the township on thingsbut hope to break ground in a couple of weeks.

My sisters son, got out of college, 2 years ago, and didn't have a job.
Someone needed an old barn torn down, so it was something to do, for money.

They took the lumber to someone that planed it, and sold it.

The buyer put it in his house, as flooring.

The Guy came back, wanting more.

They are now paying people, to tear down old barns.

Went from, ya, give me some money, and I'll haul it off, to can I give you some money, to haul it off.
