Yea it helps being in the city mark..... no charge to run the underground either.

Duke is a great company. Electricity is a good value here in NC. With the merger of Duke and Progress energy that is in the process right now they will be the largest energy company in the nation. They have not raised their residential rates in over 15 years. I have a contract for $15 a month and that covers my 1st 5kw of use. pretty cheap i think.

I used 19Kw at my RV and it was $10.90

We are a customer owned co-op so rates are pretty good as well. https://www.smeco.coop/about/index.html

The 1st X feet is free I think but after that it starts adding up pretty fast. $10K may cover it with some ariel and the last couple hundred feet buried.

yea co ops are the best. my parents are on a co op and they get really good deals also.......... the one they are on is not for profit so works out good.

yes the roof is insulated.......it goes between the trusses and the metal............r value is only 7 keeps the condensation down and the sun's radiant heat down. the metal I picked has a coating on it that is supposed to help reflect the suns rays. they had 5 or 6 colors that were supposed to do that.
