no, this is not a bitch fest... Lets not go there

Since we are booked there already and have invited folks down for the weekend, we no longer care if we see boat races or not. Plan is to bring the sawzall, rent a gaggle of scooters, cut off the mufflers, and stage drag races down Duval Street..

Who else is going to be there?

Hey Scott, would my buddy's latest creation be legal for scooter racing? He just unveiled his racing barstool yesterday.

Just signed up...thanks Cuda for telling me about this site!
Thats my Barstool racer I just built. I took a Coyote race cart & shortened the whell base to 29", mounted a std barstool over the biggest motor that would fit without cutting the barstool. Re-directed the steering & that's basically the major amount of work. I found a 6.5hp Tecumseh motor for $250 incl shipping + $50 for a clutch. There are hop up kits available, remove governor, heavier valve springs & header +-10hp. She will run faster than you really want to go +- 40mph, very top heavy. So for about $550-00 Ii have a Barstool racer, I have seen similar ones for around $1800-2000, which I just could justify buying one when in a couple hours I could build one. She is presently being powdercoated & I will post a pic soon.
Later Johno

Come clean Johno, Tawana told you to grow up and quit spending money on toys, so you retreated to your garage and came out with this!:D
