The single was a better handling boat and faster. The wife wasn't thrilled with climbing over bolsters and no cuddy cabin. Those six pack interiors can be a little confining. I personally loved it.

Here's the old 24 Skater.....

The Sutphen is a 1995. 39 footer. Five man bolsters. Staggered motor set up. #6 drives. Weight is 8,300 lbs.

It previously ran 109 with Chief built blower motors.

:o

Just finished removing all the old carpet and painting the floor and bulkheads under the dash and back bolsters. Re rigged the wiring in the cockpit area. It needed a little tightening up, a few newe clamps and a couple hundred zip ties.:D

New Pirelli flooring goes in next.

Mostly I boat at Tillery or Wateree. Usually hit LOTO for Memorial Day [except last two years, projects weren't finished]. Then I trailer up to Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin once or twice a summer to boat with old friends.

Tell your Dad he can hook me up with some sweet motors at the "family price"

I have a huge area on the raised hatch where you guys can can advertise "Rigging and Motors by Team Budah".

I'll start advertising for you at the Sarasota Poker Run in the spring.:D

Hmmm....last couple of years, I have had a boat or 6. I'm planning on keeping the Sutphen a while. I don't want anymore projects over boating season.

Seems to me I've heard this before:D :D :D

Watch out for that Budah family discount. It usually comes with all the Whoppers they can eat. That could hurt your boating funds:D :D

I'm up for a trade!:D

I wonder how many Whoppers a couple of nice blower motors would trade for?

I need to go back and read the email. Formula Outlaw has been "encouraging" me to come down to one he's involved in.
