Yeah. Getting full hyd steering, bigger tabs, and mech indicators. We're going to re-powder the swim platform while its off, too.

I like having a swim platform... but I always liked the look of the boat without it

The boat definatly looks tough without it.. but we spend alot of time in the water down at LC and its too nice not to have.

I'm looking at possibly re-freshening before dropping the motor back in... its been killin me not to touch it while its out. Figure might as well plan on some boost down the road while we're doing it, or possibly somthing else... I just started discussing it today with Jason, so we'll see where it goes.

The budget for this re-fresh is small, but I figure we can put it together and then bolt on a blower later when the $s permit it.

Boost the 21 Nick.... 100mph in that boat is doable.... over 80 in the 24 is pushing your luck imo....

You might be right about the 24.. should be exciting if nothing else .

The 21s motor would have to come back out in order to boost it, currently it has 10:1 compression. I think that the 90s is just a shorty away.. if its sticks around I'll have to see. I have a feeling that a -3" would be a great setup on it..

Put the 509 in the 24 & boost the 454 while freshining it up... put that back in the 21.... that way you can have all your boats in pieces! what fun!

Already thought of that while half of everything is apart... the carbed 454 is too tall by about 3" or more and I refuse to cut a hole in the hatch of the 21. As it is, the 509 just barely touches the hatch.That 509, a whipple, some different pistions, and another steering cylinder is the best answer for that boat if a guy really wants to go fast, imo.

How about no hatch at all with over the transom dry Headers... old school flatbottom look....

I guess the 24 is progressing. Jason called and said that he was able to fit the 280s and mocked up the steering with a empty upper case to make sure that everything will fit. Good new! It does.. its gonna be sweet to finally have some indicators on this thing.. no more guessing and fiddle fartin around getting them set for the conditions!

Never look at those indicators myself.... usually run the tabs & trim all the way up & hope for the best

Sounds like the 24 found the perfect owner Nick... can;t wait to see the finished product....
