FA/18 "hot lap" at Reno @637mph, remember a "Lap" is 9 miles....

Pratt & Whitney R-2800 engines. 18 cylinder radials. ~2000HP each. They powered a lot of WWII stuff, but I think the way the exhaust is on the Tigercat's is the difference.
