Pontiac at Daytona 1963

You guys may get a kick out of this. 1963 Pontiac Tempest (kinda) at Daytona in a very unique race. The car is fascinating. I wish the pictures were better.

My parents had either a late 60's Pontiac tempest. Convertible, automatic. It was an 8 cylinder (nothing high performance) - but cool as a kid to ride with the top down.

Don Noyes U.S. Mule. Built the whole car himself including custom exhaust. Ran under the AA/MS record. Was a legend in his time. Had some good times with him.
