I understand that President Bush Sr is a go-fast nut like many of us and is very proud of his vessel. I am sure he feels bad enough that this happened, I hope no one was hurt on the dock or in his vessel.

So Sam, InItToWinIt007 (what ever screen name you want to use), STFU and respect your elders .

Below is a pic of President Bush Sr in his better moments enjoying his ride proudly

I guess i did make fun of his docking... maybe his hand slipped when he had it on the throttles, or it was a windy day... i didn't realize how he must of felt...

Fidelity III? What other 2 Fidelities did he have?

From what I understand and have read, Fidelity II was a twin engine Fountain,
Fidelity was a Cigarette CC.
As many know, a bit of history between Sr and Don.
Here are a couple pics of what President Bush enjoys, fishing and hanging with his sons and daughters.

I thought I read somewhere that they are tripple 275's and 'he enjoys a 70+ mph run" every once in a while.

As the title says; this was Sr.'s boat, however he has a new one now (38) and it buffed out...

On May 11, Reggie Fountain delivered a new 34 Center Console to former President George Bush at his home in Kennebunkport, Maine. Powered by Triple Mercury Verado Four Stroke engines, the Fidelity III topped out at 73 MPH. Mr. Bush, an avid fly fisherman and experienced helmsman, previously owned a Fountain 31 CC which was named Fidelity II. President Bush was quoted as saying, “This boat takes the sea in a wonderful way”. When asked how he felt about his new boat Mr. Bush replied, “You’re looking at one happy camper and of course, I treasure my friendship with Reggie who has been wonderful in servicing my boat.” Fountain Powerboats is truely honored to build this boat for such an esteemed individual.

Kennebunkport, ME: Fountain Powerboats President and CEO Reggie Fountain and Mercury Marine President Mark Schwabero made a special delivery on June 20 when they presented former President of the United States George Bush with the keys to his new Fountain 38’ Center Console powered by triple Mercury 300 hp Verado outboards.

“It’s a tremendous honor to continue our relationship with President Bush,” said Fountain. “He’s a true patriot and a great American.”

The 38’ Center Console named Fidelity IV is President Bush’s third Fountain. Previously, he had owned a 31’ Center Console with twin Mercury outboards, Fidelity II, followed by a 34’ Center Console with triple Mercury 275-hp Verado outboards, Fidelity III. The 41st president of the United States enjoys fishing for stripers and bluefish off the Maine coast and is frequently joined on outings by his son, President George W. Bush.

After Fountain, Schwabero and President Bush took a test ride in the Fidelity IV, the former commander in chief exclaimed that his new 38 is the best handling boat he’s ever been in and he’s not known for taking it easy when he’s on the water. Upon their return to the docks, the group enjoyed lunch at the Bush family home in Kennebunkport. The home has been in the family since the former president’s grandfather bought the property in 1895.

In addition to being the boat of choice for the former president, the Fountain 38 Center Console is the most successful hull on the Southern Kingfish Association and American Striper tournament trails. A boat identical to President Bush’s also recently established an endurance record from Hatteras, N.C., to New York Harbor, covering the 410 miles in 6 hours, 10 minutes, 8 seconds, averaging 64 mph and just under 1 mpg.
