Broader topic, I think the future in electric is going to be standardize the batteries. Cars pull in to a station, robot drops old battery, inserts new battery and off you go. Lot of warehouses do this with forklifts. Same with drones and so on. The cost to refurbish batteries will be part of the cost of refueling, kind of like propane tank exchanges. Takes the whole "this car is 10 years old, am I looking at a huge battery replacement cost in the very near future" off the table as well.
