Most dealerships will coward behind there stupid not responsible signs, but you rase enough hell they will set it right. If you need a huge $ $ $ receipt fo rproduct missing let me know, will put in there that will let ya get more than what you had!!!!!!

It's amazing how quickly some people can change their attitude when the barrel of a 357 gets shoved into their mouth!!!!! I've yet to see anyone still wanting to laugh then! Sometimes a guys gotta do what a guys gotta do. Certain people just have to be dealt with on a higher level.

Hey in knowing a few things about dealers...get pictures of everything and names of all those involved. Try to work it out with the company owner, no one else. Show him the pictures. If no result, just have an lawer draft a letter claiming neglect...they owe you a certain amount of responsibility when they keep your car, regardless of signs. Signs don't release anyone from neglect, and if they took it inside one night then they opened themselves up to owing you more responsibility. You have a case...no doubt. It will never go to court...they won't let it. You can always call up your local TV stations, they love this type of dirt...or better yet...drive your truck right up to the front door on Saturday morning and open it up for all their customers to see...they'll ask you to leave...quick, but they'll get your point.:1geek :1geek :1geek

Oh...BTW. This was an inside job. They didn't lose your keys. You were set up. Go down there and start asking around. Tell everyone you're offering like a grand or two for info leading to the arrest... auto mechs. would sell their mother's out for a grand+. Someone will squeel and when they do, sue the dealer. and of course...never pay the grand!

Nice generalization there. As a mechanic for many years, I resent that crack. What's your profession, I am sure I can take a cheap shot at it...

Scott B I know it sounds like an attack, but it is entirely possible that an employee did the break-in.
My wife worked security at various stores and restaurants. The vast majority of thefts came from the employees.
I used to work for a major car rental company and the cops busted up a car theft ring and arrested several of the employees including managers and supervisors.
You just never know.
