Pics from Daytona
Debbie and I took the Formula to Daytona two weekends ago and stayed on the boat for the first time.
It is a steep azz ramp at the Halifax Marina. |

Dunno what this Sonic was doing. He was tied up at the courtesy dock when we got there, and was running a shore power cord to it when we left. He may have been waiting for a slip to clear. It was crowded that weekend. More on that later.

I had to go out front to find the name of the place.

I had a blown power valve on one of my Holleys, and had to idle back to the marina. I was not happy when I had deck boats passing me.

The marina was packed, and they didn't know where to put me. They ended up giving me the mayor's slip, since they knew he was in the keys for the weekend.

We were worried that it would be too hot on the boat, but a nice breeze off the Atlantic kept it pretty nice. It was our first time overnighting in the boat.

We walked to a bar across the street, had a few drinks, then bought a pizza next door and came back to the boat. Nothing but the finest cusine served at the Captain's table. :D
