Need help identifying a boat.

I'm looking into buying this boat, its sat in this yard for a long time. It's been uncovered. I know nothing about it. I'm hoping for any information about this boat. If any of you have any info on it, make or model I'd really love it.

Wow. Looks like Zone5's last boat. Hopefully he'll chime in.

Probably need to find the hull identification number (HIN) on the back of the hull or maybe in another area. Just google the first 3 letters for the manufacturer and see what turns up (depending on the year, this may differ). May even be able to take the hin to a tag office or dmv and they may be able to tell you all the info.
Of course the title should have all that on it. But since your asking, im doubting there is a title. Depending on your state, that may make the boat worthless other than for parts.
Good luck!

Title or not that boat isn't worth American Dollars. They should be willing to pay you to remove it. If you can get that done then set a budget (you're willing to EAT) on the motor and see if it will run. Then at least if you can find a buyer for 1977 115 OMC you can break even. You'll likely have to pay to dispose of the boat. You couldn't sell it.

It's been sitting in the yard under a tree for years. EVERYTHING in it is rotten. It wasn't a good boat new, the flat bottom tri hull design had to be one of the worst ever. If restored to seaworthy that would be the most expensive "cheap" boat in Brown county, where ever that is. You can do way better than that.

Informative as far as early tri-hull manufacturers and their various styling differences

equyst seems to be a bot. I notified the head honcho a few minutes ago.

I think the OP may be one too, but not totally sure. So I have not notified anyone but figured I'd play with him and Z5 in the meantime.

I assumed the OP was JD Darr or the like the first time I read it, but gave an honest reply anyway.
