Pics you say? I think the ignition panel turns out great. The tuff part was getting the wiring schematic finished. Deceided on wiring the Merc tether kill switchs to the MDS #6 ignition boxes. Kill the fire to the motors and simply, motors don't run. The MSD boxes are ready for this type of useage. All mil spec switches used for this application.

If anyone is interested, I can get a wiring schematic for the #6M MSD ignition box for details on using it in conjuction with a kill/tether switch. If you are getting the hint that I am a big supporter of boating safety----you got it!!!! Every and I mean EVERY high performance boat should have a Kill/tether switch not only installed, but used EVERYTIME the boat is in gear.

Many of you may know me as "rotax454" on other sites. That username was originally from a sleding forum years ago. Time for a change. Sledding is great, but boating is my #1 sport.

Boat in it's storage garage. Full trailering cover installed. Still have to install the tie down points on the trailer.

The trailering cover was just being trial fitted. Taken off and stored. Cockpit cover used for "garage storage". Cars not being covered. Dangerous way of trapping moisture under and around the car. Dirt can be washed off. Rust and corrosion cannot. Poly covers (correct me if I am wrong), don't breathe. More pics to follow. |
