OK What are the Poker Runs you guys are planning to do this summer? Only post if within a 10 HR tow from N.C.

Will there be one on Lake Norman this summer?

Would anyone be interested in a performance boat gathering at lake Gaston this summer?

June 3rd 4th & 5th is the Jacksonville Poker Run. Only about 6 hours from Charlotte and your buddy Tom will be be there, you should go this year its going to be bigger and better than the last two.:D

Also 4th of July is the Savanah poker run that is going on during the APBA races, if we can work it out we are going to try to make that run also.:booze1:

Is Savanah as in Georgia? Are any of the others mentioned near the Midwest?

I will be doing poker runs so far these summer. 1.may 22 sml 2.june 12 potomic river,va. 3.june 19 or 26 thunder on the bay md. 4.july 24 hot boat at potomic. 5.july 31 richmond,va.

HRPA and St. Judes Little Creek Regatta and Poker Run in Norfolk/Virginia Beach, VA. If you're interested in a 100 mile plus run that takes you for a good ocean stretch followed by a Chesapeake Bay run that drives through the largest naval base in the world; then this is a run not to miss!

BTW, Norfolk is only 5 hours away from Charlotte and we have a free/included service for lifting boats off trailers at our Marina for all poker run participants. They also have plenty of dock space to stay in the water all weekend if you like.

Vyper, my dad and I are hoping to make that one, is it a good idea to go ahead and fill out a registration form early or can we wait and make sure no plans pop up or anything?

The "ONLY" multi-boat class event on the east coast that involves not only performance powerboaters, but sailboater's, fishing boaters, and cruiser/family boats alike in a single event. Registration fee includes:

TWO party's
FOUR T-shirts
FOUR passes to both party's (5:30pm-10pm both nights with live bands)
FOUR tickets for the lunch stop at Hooters Waterside Norfolk.

That course is designed for the slower cruiser boat/family boat class who don't/can't run as far nor as fast.
