What's the best place to see the boats, at the marina?

Aside from the bridges,a boat and a helo, wheres a good spot for running shots??

Ive been google-mapping some spots but cant find much. I know Memorial Park is right there past the start bridge, but is there anywhere else semi-suitable??

The Shands Bridge in Green Cove Springs was where I did it in 07. It's a narrow mofo and signs say no pedestrians.

Last year Bill got me a fire chief escort for the Buckman Bridge- you wouldn't make it ten minutes there without one. Three different state troopers stopped to ask if they could help us.

Yeah, I'm regretting not putting this one on the schedule. Gotta make some sacrifices with the wife back in school though. :banghead It'll be on when she gets out.

Now that you're popping your salt cherry, you need to come to Biloxi with us next weekend.

salt cherry?? most of the river is light brackish from downtown south... and gets fresher south....

I've never done the run. For some reason I thought I remembered people talking about running outside or in the intercoastal? Maybe that was for the Friday fun run?
