IMO, the Konrad looks rather crude compared to the Merc ITS... Kinda like a Stellings box with a Konrad drive hanging off it....

Pics to follow one day after I get some sleep...

BTW, the heads on the 700 have Mercruiser cast in em.....

"slightly" more finished looking.....

The MTI cat runnning them at the show sounded perfect... Idles, in and out of gear, dockside manners Miss Manners would be proud of.. I did hear they lost a tranny howeveer, but since you just drop the drive to change it they were back in the water pretty quick...

Is it simply an incredible coincidence that the new Konrad and Mercury drives are called "Ace"?!?!?!?!?!?

What is up with the name? The Merc shows ace all the way around. The Konrad shows it on the rear only. Someone who was there, whats the deal?

I would not want to be Konrad if its an incredible coincidence.

Have I ever mentioned I've been invovled in alot of lawsuits?

A few years ago I was working with an air bed maker. This company had some potential to cut into sales of another manufacturer; we had a license deal for use of a huge mattress companies name. We came out with a personnel number selection remote at the same time as another bigger rival. Guess who won the huge lawsuit? :big smile
