The dates are set and we are fired up for the 2nd Annual LOOKOUT SHOOTOUT Poker Run...September 28 in Morehead City, NC. We will again run from Morehead to Oriental to New Bern, back to Beaufort and then return to Morehead....total run is 100 +/- miles! We will be addding a new feature to the event weekend on Sunday this year, radar runs on a 1 mile closed course!! As we finalize the details we will update on the schedule of events and our new fall charity partner...stay tuned!!

Unfortunately there are no hotels with ramps or dockage but there are good options available...the Hampton Inn is just a couple miles away from downtown and is on the water, just a 5-10 minute drive depending on traffic.

There is a fairly new public ramp with 6 lanes just about 5 minutes from downtown by car...we have space available for dockage on the waterfront if you want to drp in and stay in the water...Tim Grimes is coordinating that and you can give a call at 252-241-6455 or send him an email at surfbum122@gmail.com to reserve space!

Ok, it's over now...still trying to get back into the swing of things after a GREAT weekend!! We raised $8500 for our charity partner, Soldiers Undertaking Disabled Scuba(SUDS)!! That money will completely cover the cost of taking 8 combat injured veterans on a dive trip to Hawwaii in November!!!!

Congrats to Steve McEachern of Concord for having the fastest overall speed at 132mph in his 36 Skater!
