We are using a "Hardcard" system. Similar to the hardcard credentials you get for a Professional Race event. You will get your Tickfaw 200 Hardcard for the First Captain's $200.00 hand... at each stop it will get punched or swiped... we are not sure which yet. Then at the final stop, Blood River Landing, you will bring your Hardcard to the Dealer's Table where the Dealer will issue cards from a fresh deck. Each hand purchased comes from a new deck. Additional hands can be purchased for $100.00 per hand which goes directly to the pot. Those participants who come to the Friday Lake Run and/or Friday Night Party/Concert can pick up their Registration Packets and not have to make the initial start point at the Hwy 22 Bridge by Tin Lizzy's Saturday Morning, unless of course you want to be in the group photos. This means... if you live on the Slidell end of the Lake Ponchartrain, you do not have to cross the lake four times. Simply get your Hardcard punched on the way out and see us at the final spot, Blood River Landing. All cards will have to be turned in before 7pm on the 7th of May.
We feel this system will allow fairness for all competitors at a chance for the winning Pot. Additional cards can be purchased from the original deck at $20 for the 1st additional, $40 for the 2nd additional, $80 for the 3rd and $150 for each card after four. Additional cards can only be used with the original deck issued or purchased for use with the additional hands purchased. There will be no mixing of hands or additional purchased cards. The design of this system is to allow a fairness to all competitors and to eliminate "purchasing the purse." All additional hands MUST BE purchased prior to the completion of the Captain's Hand.
So far, we are projecting much more than the Original $1,250.00 First place payout. In fact... we are adding a "0" to the end of that and making it our purse! the proposed payouts are as follows, all of which are subject to change, upgrade or removal:

1st Place: $5000.00
2nd Place: $2500.00
