My friend is organizing a car show to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Plans are still being finalized but so far we know it will be held in Fair Hill Md. near the track (Rt213&273)on Sunday April 26th. More details to follow but so far we know we will have food, prizes, and face painting for any kiddies that would like to come out and enjoy the day. Please pass the word. :string

Rob

Thanks a buch Ike! Last night we attended a Bull and oyster roast south of Bel air for the same charity, what a great time we had and lots of great people involved with the charity. We are working really hard to iron out all the details of the event. I will get them out ASAP as soon as we have it all worked out! We should have a website with the event info as well as pre-registration info.

Thanks again,
Rob

Hey Rob, Are these things allowed?

SOX

If you are donating to the charity SURE!!!

That is a good idea John I will see if bikes can have a class too.

I am still waiting on the final details for the event so everyone please hang in there. I am not the organizer but I am helping the guys that are. I will get more info out as soon as it comes together.

Each year they try to add a new event, as with all these events there are some growing pains but they are worth it for such a good cause.

Thanks,
Rob

BTW I am not the organizer but I am good friends with him and I will be helping out a lot. This is the first of what we hope will be many more for this charity.

OKAY folks thanks for all the support so far! Sunday will be a beautiful day for a car show and the show will be over in time to still hop on your boat and go for a ride. There will be plenty of parking so stop in an see the cars on your way to launch the boat.

Peace,
Rob

Okay the show is this Sunday and things are coming together. Trophies are in and the Best in show is over 41" tall so hopefully it will be very impressive on the trophy table.

More reasons to come out to the show...
-Durhams best BBQ
-Kilby cream ice cream
-Wawa coffee
-DJ
-face painting for the kids
-50/50 and raffle items like a 20" flat screen TV, and Gift certificate to Steak & Main and much more!

Oh and the #1 reason to come to the show....

To support Leukemia & Lymphoma research!

Peace,
Rob

Well the car show was a success Thanks to everyone who came out to support the cause which raised over $2,500 and helped put Anthony Pasko over $50,000 during this ten week campaign. All of which goes directly to the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. With the 50k donation Anthony also was named "Man of the Year" for Maryland.

Thanks again from Anthony Pasko, Dave Boyer and me.

Cheers and see you all next year

Peace,
Rob
