And some of us are actually working...

However, I did get a chance to sneak around a bit..

I've named this years show : "We didn't think we were going so we waited until the last minute to pull a boat our our nether regions and the paint job reflects it". Some of the high priced spreads, and even some of the margarine boats, had the most gawdawful paint I have ever seen. No names, not going to slam em, but runs, pits, bubbles, and orange peel are the menu du jour down here.. It's hideous.. Only got a looksee at two Donzi paint jobs, if the show awards a best paint they should be in contention. Some of the others need to be ashamed of themselves.. And there is one newly introduced model out here that despite being sold, should go back to the plant not only for a re-paint, but also to make all the parts fit properly..

The Skaters ALWAYS rock.. Interesting they have a couple customers boats in the booth vs new ones..

Th Looney Tunes boat is freaking off the hook. MTI has surpassed themselves on that one.

The Vette boat? Meh..

What was the psi guage on the skater between the throttles? It looks a little high to be boost but wasn't sure?

Unlikely since I heard in early December that Steve let go of his entire factory staff so basically they are shut down unless new orders come in.

It's the first time in recent memory that Velocity wasn't in their traditional inside location. There was a time back in the early 90's when the only thing that was in the booth was Steve, a couple chairs and a table but Steve refused to give up the inside booth knowing the power of marketing the Miami show had. The fact that they were outside with a 3+ year old boat should tell you all you need to know.
