I'm driving. This was my first race after a bad accident in Grand Haven. This was my new throttlemans first time in the boat. You can tell he was working out the trim. It got a little hairy.

I was 13 in '86 and was watching that race in Grand Haven. My parents took us to every offshore race during the 1980's that was in Grand Haven. And I haven't missed one since. I just wish it was still a viable location for a race..... :(

When you are chasing JD D'Elia you have to hang it out there. Did you get to see me leave in the ambulance from that race? Scary.
